Irlannissa on joka vuosi kansainvalinen ei-ihan-missikisa, Rose of Tralee. Rubikin kuution ratkaisua!
Tana vuonna kisassa taidettiin kuulla ekaa kertaa suomea, kun Luxembourgin ruusuna oli aitinsa puolelta suomalainen Heidi Connolly.
Heidi Connolly, 23, was the winner at the Luxembourg Rose Ball. She will represent Luxembourg at this year's Rose of Tralee competition in Ireland this August.

Heidi Connolly, born of an Irish father and Finnish mother and raised here in Luxembourg, was chosen by the five-strong judges panel at last Saturday’s Rose Ball in the Hotel Royal, winning out over six other contestants in what must have been one of the toughest decisions ever witnessed at a Luxembourg Rose competition.

The 23-year old, who has worked in marketing and attended school in Luxembourg and Finland, was joined on stage by Gerald O'Flynn, who sang William Mulchinock’s Rose of Tralee – the song after which the contest is named – in her honour. Heidi was presented with her official sash by last year’s Luxembourg Rose, Jacqueline Maher, and with a cash prize from main sponsors fast recruitment and training by the company’s Julie Holland. Other prizes included a return flight to Dublin courtesy of Luxair, hotel accommodation courtesy of Tourism Ireland, a digital camera from D|O Recruitment, a hamper from Body Veda, crémant from Bernard Massard and a bouquet of flowers from the Luxembourg Rose of Tralee organisation.
Taman vuoden voittaja on Tipperary Rose, Aiofe Kelly.
